MIKE DIXON and MAGGIE FOYER, Dance Magazine:

Swan Lake from Tbilisi. "The impetus of the entire ballet, from the exciting Over- ture to the final chords of the music, is driven by the dy- namic conducting of Papuna Ghvaberidze. The Orchestra of English National Opera are galvanised by his energy and authority into performances of fiery intensity and voluptuous tone. If there is a star on the opening night, it is Ghvaberidze! Ballet conducting and playing of this quality is very rare."
