Salome Jicia In 2010 Salome Jicia took her Master’s degree in Piano at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. In 2008-2011 she studied singing at the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Central Music School with Professor Gocha Bejuashvili. In 2013-2014 Salome Jicia continued her studies in Opera Studio of Santa Cecilia National Academy (Rome, Italy).

In 2010 Salome Jicia received scholarship from the Paata Burchuladze International Charity Foundation Iavnana for further vocal studies. Two years later she won Grand-Prix at the International Music Festival in Turkey; Grand-Prix at the International Singing Competition in Armenia and First prize at the Lado Ataneli International Singing competition in Georgia. In 2014 she got a special prize of Max Klein and Madronita Andreu, for the best performance of Mozart at the Francisco Viñas International Singing Contest, Barcelona, Spain.

Since 2009 Salome Jicia has taken part in numerous concerts and performances. Among them should be mentioned: Recitals in the Tbilisi State Conservatoire (2009, 2011, 2012); Mozart’s Mitridate, Re di Ponto, staged at the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre (part of Aspasia), International Festival Night Serenades; VII Tbilisi Chamber Music Festival; 85th jubilee of National Artist of Georgia Nodar Andghuladze at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire; VII International Festival From Easter to Ascension; International Festival Autumn Tbilisi (Georgia). In 2013 she sang Rosina’s part in Mozart’s La Finta Semplice at AsLiCo production, Como-Cremona-Pavia, Italy. Next year the singer appeared at the Goldberg Festival of Baroque Music, Gdansk, Poland; Chamber Music Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia, and Armel Music Festival, Budapest, Hungary, where she performed Ismene in Mitridate Re di Ponto.
