Irina Taboridze Being a pianist and an intern at the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Irina Taboridze debuted as Mzia (Otar Taktakishvili’s Mindia) and Nedda (Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci), in 2007-2008. Since 2009 she has been a soloist of the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she appeared as Donna Anna (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Don Giovanni). In October 2010 she gave a solo recital at the Telavi International Music Festival (Georgia) organized by the famous Georgian pianist Eliso Virsaladze.

In 2011 Irina Taboridze graduated from the Tbilisi Conservatoire Academic Singing faculty (Professor Eldar Getzadze’s class). The same year she performed Violetta Valery (G. Verdi’s La Traviata) at the Conservatoire Opera Studio; participated in the Al’bustan Opera Festival in Beirut (Lebanon), where she sang Sifare (Mozart’s Mitridate, re di Ponto) and Soprano part in Stabat Mater by Antonin Dvorak. In 2011-2012 Irina Taboridze had an engagement in Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck (Austria), where she performed Elettra (Mozart’s Idomeneo Re di Creta). In the same season she appeared at the Tbilisi State Opera Theatre with Zenobia (Georg Freidrich Haendel’s Radamisto). In 2012-2013 season Taboridze took part in the opera festival Saaremaa Opera Days, where she performed a title role in Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. In July 2014 Irina Taboridze participated in the master-classes Opera and German Lied arranged by Academia Vocalis, Austria and conducted by Grace Bumbry. In October 2014 she took part in Armel Opera Festival in Budapest (Hungary), where she again performed Sifare (Mitridate Re di Ponto).

Since 2005 up to now Irina Taboridze regularly appears in chamber music concerts. Her repertoire includes works by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Dvorak, Schumann, Schubert, Wagner, Richard Strauss, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Stravinsky.
