Nino Ochiauri

Nino Ochiauri Born in Tbilisi, Georgia.
From 1985 to 1993 she was student of the Vakhtang Chabukiani Ballet Art State School under the tutorship of  Tamar Vikhodtseva,  Natalia Zolotova and  Ninel Silvanovich.
In 1993 Ochiauri became ballet artist at Tbilisi Z.Paliashvili Opera and Ballet State Theatre. In 1994-1996 she worked as ballet artist at Ballet Company of the Academy of Renaissance Ballet under the supervision of Nikolai Fadeechev.
Svanilda (Coppelia); Myrtha, Giselle (Giselle, A. Fadeechev choreography); Javara (Gorda, V. Chabukiani choreography); Pas de trois, Swan (Swan Lake A. Fadeechev choreography); Lucia, Variation (Don Quixote, choreographic version by N. Ananiashvili and A. Fadeechev); Spanish and Indian Dolls (Nutcracker, choreography by Yuri Grigorovich); Jacinta (Laurencia, choreography by Vakhtang Chabukiani, choreographic version by Nukri Maghalashvili); Gipsy Woman (The Two Pigeons, choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton); The Cat (La chatte, miniature by Sir Frederick Ashton); Bess (Porgy and Bess choreography by M. Lavrovsky), solo parts in George Balanchine’s Ballets: Serenade, Apollo Musagète, Western Symphony, Donizetti Variations, Chaconne, Tarantella; Sir Frederick Ashton’s Birthday Offering; Alexei Ratmansky’s Dreams about Japan, Bizet Variations; Trey McIntyre’s Second Before the Ground; August Bournonville’s Le Conservatoire; Stanton Welch’s Green and parts in G. Aleksidze’s contemporary ballets.
On October 8, 2005 she performed the leading part in Alexei Ratmansky’s ballet Leah together with the Principal of the Bolshoi Theatre, Sergei Filin.
Since 2012 N. Ochiauri has been a Coaching Ballet Mistress of Ballet Company at Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Opera and Ballet State Theatre.
