Anatoli Kucheruk

Anatoli Kucheruk Was born in Ukraine in 1958. He graduated from the Kiev State Ballet Academy in 1976.
Anatoli Kucheruk was a ballet soloist at Kiev Ballet Academy (Ukraine, 1976), principal soloist at State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Lviv, Ukraine (1976-1985) and State Musical Theatre in Kiev, Ukraine (1985-1992). He was working with the teachers and dancers from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and the Kirov Theatre in St. Petersburg, including:  Asaf Messerer, Natalia Bessmertnova, Marinda Kondratieva, Yuriy Vladimirov, Shamil Yagudin, Nadezhda Pavlova, Boris Akimov, Nina Semizorova, Mikhail Lavrovsky, Oleg Vinogradov, Sonia Arova, and others. 
Leading roles performed by Mr. Kucheruk includes: Swan Lake, Sleeping beauty, La Fille mal Gardee, Flames of Paris, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, Rasputin, Esmeralda, La Paquita, Giselle, the Nutcracker, La Bayadere, Spartacus and others.
He was on tour to numerous places all over the world - in Australia, Holland, New Zealand, Germany, Turkey, Israel, England, India, Austria, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States.
At the invitation of John Clifford he has toured in twenty-seven US states partnering ballerina, Alegra Kent, 1989.  Moreover, he was the first Soviet dancer to perform Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliante in the USA.
Mr. Kucheruk was a Guest Principal Soloist and Guest Principal Dancer at Ballet West, USA (1991), La Jolla Festival Dance Center, USA (1992) and Alabama State Ballet (1994).
Since 1987 Anatoli Kucheruk has started ballet coaching. He has worked as a ballet coach at Kiev State Musical Theater (Ukraine), Russian Ballet Institute and Murray Ballet Center (USA), La Jolla Festival, Dance Center (USA), Birmingham Southern College (USA), Kirov Academy of Ballet (Washington, DC). After the year 2011 he is a ballet master of a Ballet Company at Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre. He has numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist students.
Anatoli Kucheruk has obtained Silver Medals at Kiev National Ballet Competition (1977 and 1978), Moscow National Ballet Competition (1979-1981), Varna International Ballet Competition (1980). Moreover, he is Honored Artist of Ukraine (1983) and owner of the American Grand Prix, Best Teacher Award (2006).
